Located in Liège, Belgium, at the center of the golden triangle (Frankfurt-Paris-Amsterdam), Challenge Handling is one of Europe’s largest and best-equipped handling facilities. It boasts approximately 30,000 m² of online warehouse space on both the north and south sides of Liège Airport and 11,000 m² of offline warehouse space, each with 400 m² of temperature-controlled storage and office space. The facility features automated roller-bed systems for ULD storage (SACO & ETV systems) to ensure efficient cargo handling. Challenge Handling also has high security clearance and houses Europe’s largest capacity high loader (52 tonnes).
Additionally, Challenge Handling is the sole operator of the Horse Inn facility and holds certifications including IATA CEIV Pharma, Live Animals, Lithium Batteries, and ISO 9001:2015. Serving as the Group’s operational hub, it supports all Group aircrafts with dedicated facilities and provides ramp, handling, warehousing, and a variety of logistics ancillary services to a wide range of third-party carriers and freight forwarders.
