Aircraft Technical Expert

The Technical Expert is the technical reference person in the CAMO, holding outstanding expertise on the subject aircraft type(s). Consequently, he/she monitors complex and/or repetitive defects troubleshooting, perform regular aircraft visits for conditions checks, and acts as technical representative for the CAMO for line maintenance at homebase. He/she may also be assigned sporadically to technical representative role for base maintenance checks. He/ she plays a pivotal role in ensuring the operational reliability of the airline's fleet by providing expert technical guidance.
